Dungeon Systems / Living build manual
The Builder’s Guide.
Real settings, real print outcomes, and practical build instructions. This reference will be expanded with every verified design and print run so customers can reproduce what they see in the gallery.
Documentation that grows with the project
Below are the planned public guide sections. Information is labeled by what has been recorded versus what still needs an actual print log.
Printer, nozzle, plate & filament profiles
Initial build log identifies Creality SPark I7 printers, a standard 0.4 mm nozzle for detailed parts, and SUNLU gray PLA+ in current production work. Actual nozzle/bed temperatures, extrusion overrides, speeds, retraction settings, and build-plate type will only be published from the successful print record for each item.
Orientation, plate quantities & print times
Every released file will include an orientation photograph or preview, parts-per-plate count, print time, supports if used, material consumption, and the printer/profile that produced the result. No print time estimates are being invented here.
Grouped inventories & included files
Floor pieces, wall sections, doors and frames, special mechanisms, characters, furniture, scenery, fasteners, magnets, and printable templates or sticker files will have human-readable parts lists. Only approved commercial files will become downloads.
Assembly and finishing
Room-building sequences, magnet polarity or free-movement verification where relevant, clips, lighting installation, painting, and applied Cricut decals will be photographed step by step. Safety and compatibility notes belong next to the relevant component.
Example dungeon layouts
Illustrated game setups will demonstrate room arrangements, corridors, expanded levels, and play scenarios using the physical system actually released, rather than unverified conceptual configurations.
Revisions and release history
Each public product will carry a version, a specific included-file inventory, known compatible parts, changes from the prior release, and a date. Prototypes and unsold design studies will remain separate from customer downloads.
Initial Material Reference
This is a starting index of the current workshop setup, not a universal print profile.
| Item | Current record | Publication status |
|---|---|---|
| Printer | Creality SPark I7 | Recorded workshop equipment |
| Detailed printing | 0.4 mm nozzle commonly used | Part-specific validation pending |
| Primary dungeon filament | SUNLU gray PLA+ | Actual print temperatures and speeds to be recorded per part |
| Magnet components | 5 × 2 mm discs used for current floor testing | Only for applicable final designs |
| Build plates & slicer overrides | Part-dependent | Awaiting validated print record |
Next build, next documentation update
For the next approved print, add: a finished-part photo, slicer settings, material and nozzle, orientation, plate count, print duration, assembly notes, and any design adjustments. The website entry and future downloadable manual can then stay synchronized.
